Important:  96.3% of US colleges either require SAT or ACT test scores or will consider SAT/ACT test scores when submitted.  It is important that students continue to take the SAT test and submit the scores when applying to colleges.  Only 3.7% of US colleges do not require SAT/ACT test scores.

While many colleges have gone test optional, the early data has shown that students who submit SAT or ACT test scores have an admissions advantage.The ACT test is held in equal esteem as the SAT test by most colleges and universities.
