Join us in Create a Character for the opportunity to bring your favorite story characters to life! We will use our favorite stories to create handheld versions of our favorite characters, through paper dolls, puppets or stuffed characters. Come with your favorites in mind! From animals to action figures and more, the opportunities are endless! We will start each day with a read aloud to serve as character inspiration. Exploring different ways to be creative and bring our characters to life, we will also create scenes and settings to serve as a home or backdrop. Bring your own box, like a shoebox, and anything you think will suit your character! To create stuffed characters, bring something stuffable, like an old sock, glove or anything you can use to be creative!
