Dickens Christmas is a holiday tradition, celebrated on weekends each year in Skaneateles, NY. Charles Dickens and his cast of characters welcome you to the annual Dickens Festival. Step back in time and celebrate the holidays the old-fashioned way. The decorated village, Carolers, Street Theater, Roasted Chestnuts & Hot Chocolate. The Street Performances entertain throughout the day and there's plenty of shopping for those perfect holiday gifts at the over 70 unique gift shops, boutiques, and eateries. We will be at the festival from noon - 4:00 pm. Plan by visiting www.skaneateles.com for those who like to preplan. Following the festivities, we will travel a short distance to Spring Side Inn, an Auburn favorite. Enjoy a plated sit-down dinner included at this historic inn, located on the north end of Owasco Lake. Dress for the weather.
