Introduction to Canva: Design Made Easy for Everyone

Want to create stunning flyers, beautiful social media posts, or eye-catching invitations, but don't know where to start? You don't need a degree in graphic design, you just need Canva! In this 6-week beginner course, you will learn how to use Canva's free, user-friendly platform to bring your ideas to life.

Whether you are a small business owner looking to make marketing materials, a volunteer creating event flyers, or simply someone who wants to design custom greeting cards and photo collages, this class is for you. We will cover everything from setting up your free account and navigating the canvas, to choosing colors, working with photos, and downloading your final files. The class includes step-by-step demonstrations followed by guided, hands-on practice so no prior knowledge of Canva or design is needed. By the end of the 6 weeks, you will confidently design your own custom project from scratch! 

Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop and a physical mouse. Chromebooks are available to borrow if needed.
