So You Want To Be A Dance Teacher? (Grades 1-3)

Ever wondered what it’s like to lead the class? This exciting, hands-on week lets dancers trade places and become the instructor! Explore Ballet, Jazz, and Tap from a new perspective—learning not just how to dance, but how to teach. You’ll unlock the “Teacher’s Toolkit,” including leading a high-energy warm-up, counting music, creating and remembering choreography, and confidently guiding a group. Then, create your own original routine and teach it to your classmates! The week ends with a fun peer performance to showcase your choreography and leadership in a supportive environment. Build confidence, make new friends, and discover your inner dance teacher!
