This fall, we are pairing our popular monthly sky tours with astronomy topic talks and full dome
planetarium presentations. Each evening will begin with an immersive planetarium presentation about
a different astronomical topic. Next, we will take you on a tour of the current skies, highlighting visible
planets, deep sky objects, and any upcoming special astronomical events. Feel free to ask your
astronomy questions throughout the night! (Ages 10 – Adult)

What forms might life take in the solar system and beyond? Living Worlds from the California Academy
of Sciences explores this question in a new immersive experience that explores how we might detect life
as well as how our presence could be apparent to distant civilizations. Planetarium Director Mark Percy
will lead a discussion of the program and answer your questions about one of humanity’s greatest
questions: Are we alone? Come and learn about the myriad of projects dedicated to unraveling this
cosmic puzzle.
