Let's build a house with fabric. It can be a very simple place with a window and door, perhaps a chimney. Or, it can be more involved with people looking out a window, pets nearby (using fabric cut outs). Perhaps we could make a street of houses with trees, or a village with a barn, and other buildings.
Do you prefer other residences? Perhaps bird houses, camping outdoors, a place in the sun and sand. We can be as creative as we wish using a few basic quilt designs as the inspiration. There are many house blocks from which to choose. Linda will provide a few, and you may add to them if you wish, or use the basic designs, in a pillow, table runner, wall quilt or full quilt.
Fabric requirements will vary from yardage for a large quilt to scraps and fat quarters etc. There is no need to bring anything to the first class. We will discuss our options then. Directions will be given in class - sewing will be done at home on your own sewing machine.
