« back to classes page
This spring, we are pairing our popular monthly sky tours with astronomy topic talks and full dome
planetarium presentations. Each evening will begin with an immersive planetarium presentation about
a different astronomical topic. Next, we will take you on a tour of the current skies, highlighting visible
planets, deep sky objects, and any upcoming special astronomical events. Feel free to ask your
astronomy questions throughout the night! (Ages 10 – Adult)

Originally scheduled to be a 15 year mission, the International Space Station has been continuously
occupied for 25 years and counting. The ISS has proven to be so valuable and durable that its final orbit
keeps getting pushed back. This class will go into the scientific insights that have been gained with the
help of the space station, and the realities of keeping astronauts alive off of our planet in Zero G.
