be. here. now. and Learn about mindfulness, yoga, meditation and connect with other teens in a comfortable environment. “What’s your story?” Being a teen can be really stressful! A big part of what stresses us out is the story we tell ourselves about what’s happening during difficult situations and times of big emotions.  This workshop invites you to show up with a curious mind and ask, “What’s the story I’m telling myself?” Is your story one of . . .  I’m not good enough? No one likes me? My grades stink and I’ll never get into college? This is an experiential and practical course to cultivate mindfulness practices for self-regulation. be. here. now. teaches you to drop that story and begin to observe life in the present moment without judgment, to notice what is actually happening. You will develop an embodied self through mindfulness breath, yoga, and meditation. Bring a mat, water, comfy clothes and get ready for a fun experience. Materials fee of $5 is due at registration.
