This class is appropriate for all levels and will systematically invigorate the body, improve health and flexibility, and remove energy blockages and tension. Breathing practices will awaken, balance and expand the vital energy in the body, as well as relax and calm the mind. Concentration and meditation techniques are taught throughout the course and include body awareness & stillness, breath awareness, observation of mind and thoughts, and the use of mantra. Students will begin to experience enhanced concentration, reduced stress, and an ability to find peace amidst the turbulence of daily life. Absolute beginners to advanced students are welcome! You will not find a class like this anywhere else in Western NY! Students should bring a yoga mat and and bottled water to class.
