MAY SKY TOUR - Baring the Heavens

This spring, we are pairing our popular monthly sky tours with astronomy topic talks and full dome
planetarium presentations. Each evening will begin with an immersive planetarium presentation about
a different astronomical topic. Next, we will take you on a tour of the current skies, highlighting visible
planets, deep sky objects, and any upcoming special astronomical events. Feel free to ask your
astronomy questions throughout the night! (Ages 10 – Adult)

Baring the Heavens: The Herschel Family's Contributions to Astronomy. William Herschel, his sister
Caroline and his son, John, made some of the most significant discoveries and astronomical
advancements in all of history. Journey with us as we reveal a unique family portrait that will dazzle and
inspire. The program will also feature our monthly sky tour. (Ages 10 – Adult)
